I want to share with you a wonderful experience that happened to me today (April 1st 2009) I recieved a phone call at around 5:45am (not long after I had fallen asleep) "It's time!" was all I heard... before my mind could register, I found myself driving in the van...a whole 200 steps from our driveway to my desired destination; first oops...second was when I went barrelling up their stairs... in my P.J's - ("obviously no one else got the memo it is a pajama party"...was all the excuse I could render with such lack of sleep) Before long Grandma Reeve arrived and we were off on our adventure... And what an adventure it was! I am not sure I will ever have the opportunity to be part of such a sacred event again (but I secretly hope Emma and my future daughter in laws invite me as well) Tasha and Dave were amazing....really AMAZING! they worked beautifully together. Tasha would say something with her eyes and Dave knew exactly what she needed... I guess by the time you get to 4, you are a well oiled machine. We arrived at the hospital at 7:15am and the baby was in the midwive's arms at 8:28am. It was so fast I was about to tell Tasha, "you are crowning" ... but had to quickly change it to "your baby is here!"....she really was there...right in front of me..I could berely see her through my tears.....I just kept saying over and over "Tasha you are amazing, you are amazing...you did it!..she is so beautiful" These words will never fully describe that moment in my life....and how I will forever love this family....
